Peak Legal Group, LLC welcomes our new Associate Attorney, BRITTANY DUTTON-LEYDA.
Brittany graduated from UNM School of Law in 2023. She has always been interested in family law and received her Collaborative Law Certification in May of 2023. Brittany was a W.K. Kellog Foundation Child and Family Justice Scholar, worked as a student technician for the Director of the Corrine Wolfe Center for Child and Family Justice, and participated in the Child and Family Justice Clinic. She also served on the Executive Board for Moms of Law during law school. Brittany has a previous background in insurance defense and has practiced medical malpractice, employment defense, healthcare law, and adult guardianship cases. Prior to going to law school, Brittany was a paralegal for 14 years in both the private and public sectors.
Brittany is now accepting both litigation and collaborative cases in all areas of family law including divorce, custody, timesharing, child support, domestic violence, and kinship guardianships, in addition to adult guardianships and conservatorships, wills and estate.
